Deepavali,  A festival..         Not a Shame!

Deepavali is just here, all are set and excited to celebrate this most auspicious festival of  hindus in their respective ways. 

Deepavali which means “Series of light” and “glow of light”, spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil,  and hope over despair. Deepavali is being celebrated in honor of the return of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lord Lakshmana to Ayodhya from exile of 14 years after Rama defeated Ravana. To honor them, villagers light Diyas to celebrate the triumph of good over evil. 

Now that was the marked history of why Do we celebrate Diwali and how important this festival is, for we ‘The Hindus‘. 

But If we see the articles and headlines of past few years, It will leave you spellbound,  that how smartly critics are poking our festivals. Critics have started defining our festivals as the biggest environmental hazzard. I wonder Is it only our festival which is polluting the Environment and at the same time marking our festivals as the ‘life end’ for all the street animals.  But isn’t that a point we  should criticize for? 

When I made the plan about writing on this issue, I already saw such unwanted social posts about, ‘How we shouldn’t light crackers during Diwali,  because it is not kind to animals and as well as to the environment.’ The same people just for the sake of their high status routinely travel business class to attend international conferences or say Holiday trips and who work and live in Ac environment 24/7, and displaying their luxirious four wheelers and burning diesel,  Want us to not light crackers because it is oh-so bad for the environment and when comes Holi they get out of their Olympic sized swimming pools and tell us to save water.

  

This ever growing critcs are so not going to stop because we, who are at blame according to them never take a dig on it. 

In this article I could have also mentioned how other community’s festivals also have some short comings and they are equally not so good as far as the environment is concerned, But being a human,  I am not here to hurt the sentiments of the people around the world.

Facts say, everything including our festivals have a downside to it.  That is again an old age fact.  Nothing in this world can be made picture perfect without any side effects.

So my idea of writing this article is just to alert all the people, not only the Hindus but all the Indians, whenever someone tries to poke your festival, don’t bow down, instead tell them the rituals and the history attached with your festival and be proud about  your tradition,  customs and festivals. 

Definitely with the time, Change is must,  but that change must come from within, Not because anybody else want that change.

I know after reading this article people might criticize me, As most of the crackers are ‘Made in china’, Then I would say please go check out yourself,  Is everything that you use is an Indian product?  Your answer would be a straight ‘No’  and even if one is so particular about using Indian products then you will definitely manage buying crackers with the label ‘Made in India‘ from the market. 

I Muskan Bhojwani don’t light crackers, but I light up countless diyas at home and to keep the tradition alive in me I light up the sparkling fuljhadi, And also enjoy witnessing the fireworks, with my family. 

I am a proud practicing Hindu. I respect and celebrate my traditions. And let me tell you all that Deepavali is personally my favourite time of the year. 

By the way has anyone taken on account of the number of crackers that are fired during the New year eve and at the the grand Opening and Closing Ceremony of any Sports event,  But again why would the critics cry for these celebrations. These are not hindu festival, isn’t it.?

And She found herself 

​It was 6 o’clock in the morning and the alarm rang… She found herself in that morning again,  she woke up tying her pony tail and looked out of the window, took a long breathe but like every morning She didn’t shout at her maid for the coffee, she ran out in the garden area instead and danced under the sunshine,  

she had never felt that warm in a long time. The rays on her skin and the grass beneath her feet, nothing had been that normal in so long. There was something very special in that morning that she made herself a hot cup of coffee and thought to herself that “She is going to be alright soon.”… Like other mornings she didn’t rush to her work,  instead she devoted all her time to herself…. 

She went for the evening walk where she found herself in those children who were swinging in the park, 

 she found herself under the twinkling sky counting stars and slept in her garden area only.. Next morning when she woke up, there was no alarm which rang but the chirping of birds and the rays of sun made her wake up,  The morning was more pleasant than the morning before, because she found the person who was lost, she found the person who was buried in her soul, she found the person who still believes that life is beautiful…

And Fortunately She found herself..

That day She understood that there’s going to be very painful moments in life, that will change the entire world in a matter of minutes. These moments will change us,  Let them make us stronger, smarter and kinder. But don’t  go to become someone we are not.

 Keep yourself alive in you. Cry,  scream, heal your wounds, take time, act wired and wild, if you have to. But the other morning come back with the widest smile on your face with no wounds  inside or out…

  • ​ Who am I to judge another when I myself walk imperfectly. 
  • Who am I to judge you when I myself don’t know who am I.
  • Who am I to judge your choice when I myself vaccilate around.
  • Who am I to laugh at you when I myself am a laughing stock. 
  • Who am I to  tell you that you are wrong when I myself can’t make the difference b/w right and wrong. 
  • Who am I to interfere in your world when my own life is messed up. 
  • Who am I to pass a statement on your character when I myself don’t allow others to do so.

I don’t know whether I am a beautiful pure soul for you or not. I don’t know what’s my worth in your life. I don’t know how your eyes look at me and what these eyes think of me.  All I know is that I am a soul who is in love with herself. I don’t care whether this world accepts me with my imperfections or not but I do  accept myself with all the imperfections and the mistakes I commit each day because there is no word like ‘Regret‘ in my word book. 

I believe that all these small small mistakes would lead me closer to the perfect one.. I don’t wish myself to be ‘PERFECT’ because that no one can. Remember even The moon has some scars on it yet it lighens up the dark, gloomy night. 

 So stop judging others and start working on yourself from today itself because The happiest people are the one who evaluate and improve themselves, Rest waste their time in evaluating and judging others..

​Are you trying not to be you…? 

Plz.. Hold on!

Don’t try to be a mirror, don’t see yourself in others.. because that’s not you.. Don’t try to be at the place where others are, instead create your own,So that you can stand out long.. Shine in your own way that even stars find the place to hide.. 

Give yourself credit for the days you’ve made it when you thought you couldn’t. Life is hard enough without being around people who bring you down, and as much as you care,  you can’t destroy yourself for the sake of someone else. 

Always remember,“You can be the ripest juiciest peach in the world but there is still going to be somebody who hates peaches..”

So what matter is you, others are going to be the faded part of your life, their existence in your life will be vanished soon.. 

Be you, Create your own story and never let others play the part of protagonist in your story.. 

 It’s time” you need to realize that one by one the population has swelled to billion, but even still you were hand selected, all beauty and flaw,  to never be replicated.” 

You are the finest art to have ever been created,  and your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth.

Females verdict.. 

Hello Blog Readers!

In this world of males and females. I am a female who is being judged by all, who is being ruined by all, who is always the victim of society’s dirty fantasy, who when cries is known for her cowardness,  who when laughs, is asked to shut as if something wrong she has done., Who is being  treated as a ‘Maal’ for the society, who is being taught to let go all the shits that happen to her,  who is being attacked brutally when say ‘NO’ to someone.

 

Who is known as a ruined child of her parents when becomes independent , Who is being questioned when wants to be in a relationship. Whose character is judged by the length of pants she wears. Who is still fighting for the the Right to be Educated.

Who doesn’t find herself safe out of her home’s corridor. Who is asked to cover her face when goes out of her home, who is not seen as autonomous individuals, who is being treated as an object to satisfy the desires  of man.

It’s a pure shame, If people worship goddess Durga,why treat women like an object.

 
Is this the true reality of The Incredible India.?

But no more now.!

 Everybody till date speaks of Independence that we got 71 years from now and We the womens have not got it yet,  Do we also have to fight for Our Freedom,  exactly like our freedom fighters fought for the nation’s freedom and dignity. 

  • The society should remember that it’s always a female who gives life to all the males, then who gave them a right to spoil womens according to their mood. 
  • Females are the most beautiful and a pride to our society, if spoiled completely the life will come to an end. 
  • Let her live and never ever mistake her silence for weakness. Remember that sometimes, ‘The air stills before the onset of hurricane.’

    My First Blog Post On My Last TEEN (19) Birthday. 

    HELLO BLOG  READERS..

    In these 19 years of my life I have learnt alot. 

    I have learnt that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, Life does go on, and it will be a better tomorrow. I have learnt that making a ‘living’ is not the same as making a ‘life’.  I have learnt that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I have learnt that you should not go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands, you need to be able to throw something back. I have learnt that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I have learnt that even when I have pains, I am not the only one suffering. I have learnt that everyday you should reach out and touch someone.

    People love a warm hug or just a friend pat on the back.

    I have learnt that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel. I have learnt that there comes someone in your life who touches your heart ♥ and changes your life totally. I have learnt that in your bad times when everybody leaves you all alone in a mid way,  your parents will still be there to back you.  I have learnt that no matter how much time a thing takes, if you will work harder for it, you’ll get it..  They say ” It’s Better Late Than Never.” I have learnt that,  when the fight is between you and your dear ones, It’s  better to loose and when the time comes to fight with yourself no matter how hard it takes you must win. I have learnt that at the end of the day you get The fruit of your own Labor.

    I HAVE LEARNT THAT I STILL HAVE ALOT TO LEARN….
